As consultants we strive to get landowners the highest price possible for their timber while using proper forest management. A well managed forest will produce higher quality timber which results in higher prices when sold. Timber sale timing is extremely important, and requires an up to date knowledge of timber markets and trends. Our marketing approach includes accurately estimating the volume and value of the timber to be sold, advertising the timber, receiving competitive bids, selling under a firm timber deed or contract to protect our clients land and remaining timber. After the timber is sold we supervise all harvesting operations through inspections. Harvesting operations are required to be in compliance with Mississippi Best Management Practices.
